For several years, the Project Working Moms and Dads are sponsoring scholarship online programs for working mothers and fathers to obtain a free online career education in order to improve their career or be efficient in their chosen profession or be given an opportunity to obtain other rewarding career opportunities. With these online career education, it support in balancing the demand of their current job employment, family obligations, friends, and even other obligations such as organizations or association. Based on the United States Census Bureau, about nearly one in ten families in America are already headed by a single parent. In most cases, five out of this single parent are mothers and what’s most concerning about it is that only few single mothers got a stable income in order to raise their children and for their personal usage. In which, about only twenty parents single parents are only earning $75,000 and it becomes more clearer that this single mother have no financial assistance with no hopes of earning or foregoing a higher educational learning even online schools in order to get better job employment.

Recognizing this concern, the American InterContinental University, DeVry University and Walden University joined forces in order to support of creating scholarships for an online university degree programs. With there combined efforts, several working mothers received scholarships in order to continue their educational learning and improve the condition of their family lives. Even though, there are only 40 scholarship program for education online to the working parents especially working moms but it already provide a positive significant impact to the lives of scholar parents that been selected. The scholarship program pays the entire cost of online degree program that the scholar parents selected. Scholars are selected based on the qualification of the university program that the learners are interested on enrolling are required to write an essay basing on the topic given by the sponsors.

Those who will qualify and got the most compelling essays are chosen to become recipients for the online scholarship program for this Project Working Moms and Dads. This online degree scholarships had already been doing successful upon implementing this educational project with the participation of the different prestigious schools or universities in America such as the Capella University, Ashford University, Penn Foster College, American Sentinel University, and Everest University Online.
