Good news for students in New Jersey. The Centenary College has announced its expansion program to give more services to the communities in the Hackettstown. The expansion of its curriculum will include certificate in Learning Technology, according to reports receive by this website.

The new curriculum is specifically designed for practicing kindergarten to 12th grade teachers and would focus on practical applications of advance technologies for classroom setting. It said that the program will be composed of five credit courses and the good news is that it will be offered online. The courses have specifically-designed programs to meet the demands that are all applicable in the classrooms. There will be projects that students will be engaging so that technology can be incorporated successfully into lessons in order to prepare teachers to become potential leaders in the districts.

It is also found out that the best advantage in online education is that the students can be flexible as far as completing their coursework and this is very convenient. They have their own time and they can attend online classes even when they are only in the homes, travelling or having a vacation in the provinces – as long as they have personal computers connected to the worldwide web.

Christine Vandenberg, graduate studies associate director, said the program is suited for teachers having busy schedules. Since all classes will be made online students have all the flexibility opportunities which mean they can have complete control over their teaching activities while they also enjoy having online classes because of the very adjustable online education program provided by the school.

There are five courses the students are mandated to complete such as Technology and Ethics, Introduction to Educational Technology, Web Design for Teachers, Audio and Visual Production for the Classroom, and Digital Visual Imagery for Educators. In fact, many schools world wide are also interested on this same program.

This certificate course in Learning Technology will be credited for Masters of Education in Learning and Technology if teachers also wish to proceed to master’s degree.
