Free Online Educational Courses Extended to West Texas

Computer StandThe University of Texas Permian Basin is now kicking off towards its offering an educational program of free online classes towards its high school learners to the entire area of West Texas as far as the Presidio area. This online educational course does not only save financial resources but as well supporting several young individuals be able to forego their career building as they will be continually chose their profession. It’s considered as dual educational credit enrollment. Through allowing the high school learners to earn a college credit just in high school level is comparable of gaining a momentum in UTPB. This year is just the start of making these educational goals to take its further step. According to Mary Martinez in the UTPB Continuing Educational Program that there are several good aspects that provides an opportunity for several individuals to be able to forego their college education even in this tough economy and for that this educational program is just one areas of opportunities that will be provided to several individuals.

In every district of Basin, the University of Texas Permian Basin is now offering their online free classes towards its core subjects, fine art subject, and electives. According to Rey Lascano together with its UTPB Outreach and Continuing Educational program stated that they wanted that these learners will also become successful individuals as they will be choosing a career profession. Not only that through the support of these individuals, the economy that become one of the major concerns in the nation will also flourish in several areas. Since, in the future there are several individuals who will be taking seriously in doing their responsibility and functions well especially in their respective chosen profession. In an update this online program have already opened up two days ago and as of now, they had already about more than 100 learners on its area mostly coming from this small area of West Texas cities that have no community college in their area. It’s been observe that 30 of these new UTPB learners came from Presidio. Martinez stated of his excitement upon venturing this free online education especially to the mere fact that is there first year of doing a free online courses.

The idea about this free online college education came from this University President who have budgeted an amount of money in order to pay its career course education. The response about this educational program had already become phenomenal that leads several learners to sign up. According to the ECISD officials on the NewsWest9 that this free online career education program is generating a bigger interest upon continuing education. Regardless of what income that they will be undertaking or their parent’s income, UTPB had already stepped up and already offered some great opportunities towards their learners in order to experience a college education regardless of how much finances that they can make, who they are, and where they came from according to Dr. Steve Brown in the Ector County Independent School District.
