Immigrants Welcome English Language Learning

March 27th, 2009 by outsourcing

For the immigrants to grow in many aspects of life they should learn many things such as culture, customs and traditions of countries you are in right now. This thing usually happens to immigrants in the United States that very much welcome the English language learning process. Learning this language is very important to all international students and not just immigrants because this is ultimately the universal language.

In Atlantic City, immigrants welcome the English language for their easy immersion to the place they are in. Instructor Renee Massey for English as a Second Language (ESL) during an English class asks this question: What are you going to do tomorrow? And her students – Myrna Cotto and Mohammed Elsakhary – also answer: “I am going to clean the house.” And “I am going to fix my car.” These are the kind of learning that Instructor Massey want to always emphasize so that ESL students can easily learn the language. He believes actual demonstrations described in sentences and how the thought is created is very important.

He said the student should learn not only the English speaking habits but as well as grammar and usage, dictions and everything vital to learn in the study of this universal language. Even in a military school, the ESL is also important subject for non-Americans.

His students were people from Vietnam, Egypt and South America. They want to find their fortune and luck in the Atlantic City, thinking that better lives can be easily achieved in this beautiful city in America. In fact, Elsakhary was been in the US for several months now, with his lovely wife and two daughters. Currently, he is working as a crew at the Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was then an office staff back in Egypt having a degree in social works. This summer he is planning to work at a casino and he only comes to ACCC to study English and improve his speaking and listening skills.
