Dont be fooled by too much education marketing

There’s nothing wrong with schools having too much advertisements of their educational offers because we are in the world of new technologies of the 21st century. There are the so-called traditional tri-media advertising plus the emergence of the worldwide web where schools world wide can easily advertise and promote their new courses offered and all other promotions. Let’s accept it. In today’s society we are bombarded with so many advertisements from thousands of schools. There are those who were mesmerized by these advertisements and enrolled their children in schools that are advertised and promoted. However, parents should understand that selecting a school that is advertised does not guarantee they have selected the best schools. In reality many are only fooled by some schools because of these so-called exaggerated advertisements.

The following are basic knowledge that you should know before you are to select the school for your children. This will help you to have your options at selecting only the best.

    1. The school should have been among the top performing schools in your locality or in your country. This means they have reputations of being the best schools that really care for education.

    2. The school should have been duly accredited by the governing bodies. This will put you in a safe situation. When the schools are regulated it means they are obligated to follow government rules as far as education is concerned.

    3. It would be a plus factor if the school has been operating for more than 10 years so that you say that your students are in good hands. New schools don’t have the reputation of being the best because they have not yet shown how they perform as far as following rules and regulations of private and government governing bodies.

    4. Schools that are having complete facilities perform well than those having only limited facilities. These facilities may include laboratory facilities and or other modern facilities for chemistry, physics, nursing education, computers, IT technology, among other facilities we can see in bigger schools, colleges and universities.

    5. The school must be run by respected and high-profiled educators and administration personnel who have the reputation in society. There are schools, especially private schools, whose some educators do not even have license to teach. This means parents should be careful about this kind of schools that accept unlicensed educators.
