Continuing Education for Workers Compensation in Illinois

A continuing education about workers compensation is one of the good signs that many people and students from the legal sector both from business and employees would want to be updated. This is also the main reason why the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) will be conducting this kind of seminar on February 16, 2009, to be able to help interested people know about important topics related to workers compensation cases.

The continuing education seminar will be held at Sheraton Fairview Heights on Monday and would focus on the topics: Initial client interview, review and appeal of workers, presenting the case to any appellate court, trial preparation, ethical considerations among others. The said continuing education program qualifies for at least five hours for the Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) creditable hour.

The seminar cost would be $135 for the members of ISBA and for non members it would be $290.

The continuing education program is for professionals who want to be updated about this profession. By attending said seminar he will be credited points until he earns what is mandated by the organization to be earned by a single professional participant. Since there are now online college degree program, graduates from this virtual education is also mandated to participate in this kind of a program in order to continue their knowledge while they also practice their respective profession.

Many professionals such as doctors, architects, nurses, engineers, dentists and others also conduct the same continuing education program in many parts of the world. This means this kind of program is very effective for professionals. The world is ever changing and there are lots of updates in a single year in many sectors. This is the main reason why professionals need this continuing education program.

Other professional organizations would conduct national conferences or conventions in a larger scale so that all the members of said group would not only learn updates but as well as get acquainted with their peers.
