Continuing Education for Underrepresented Adults

Compass Rose Foundations Inc. collaborates with adult education provider Smart Horizons Career Online Education (SHCOE) in bringing back adults into school and giving them the hope of a brighter future. Since adults which do not posses a high school diploma will be faced with issues of unemployment.

Two organizations with one cause collaborate to lighten up the lives of adults by giving them the essential education experience with full support from such organizations. Such initiative will not only cover adults also citizens in most need of high school diploma. These diplomas will enable them to be exposed to larger opportunities and elevate their living conditions.

SHCOE which was founded 2009 has been serving adults with affordable online career education. When it began its classes last April, 18 high school credit diplomas with corresponding course work needed to earn a career-credentialed certificate. According to the CEO and Superintendent for SHCOE they will be targeting adults with multiple jobs which require flexibility in education. Considering some adults are employed but under low paying jobs.

Compass Rose Foundations which started its operations on 1940 have contributed to the establishment and management of no fewer nine higher education institutions. The foundation once operated with manual education facilities since that period. Now, Compass Rose Foundations high schools programs and high school institutions both feature traditional classrooms and online classes. Compass Rose is dedicated in bringing out the best and developing human potential.

Both Florida based organizations has a symbiotic advantage. Compass Rose Foundation will take care of the funds needed for the educating deserving adults and Smart Horizons Career Online Education will provide both online and traditional high school education including online education resources needed for the experience.
