We have all know that college education is very costly especially in the United States. It really needs a high percentage of money in order to cover the educational expenses in four or five years learning in college level. The educational expenses will be allotted for the tuition fees, school facilities payment, dormitory payment, projects, documents, books and others educational requirements. It’s a very evident that only few individuals can enroll to four year degree in college. In which, some students just stop their education in high school level and then directly look for a job. This issue is very alarming.

In that aspect, the government of education in the United States created some ideas in order to help these high school students to enhance their skills in order to acquire a job if they don’t go to college education. The idea that they created is the implementation of hands on training to the high school students who are about to graduate. In which, it will give them a chance to be exposed to skilled works as well as to help the students who can’t obtain a college education to have a brighter career.

In Hattiesburg High School, the education program regarding hands on training was applied in their educational system. In which, career program and technical courses are offered in there school as an elective subject for students who are about to graduate in high school. The main goal of this school is to equip the students for both knowledge and skills in order to make them well diverse individuals. If in the case they can’t obtain a college degree they can do something to rely on in order to survive in this world. The skills that they got can help them obtain a job in the corporate world or can help them establish an own business.Orientation of skilled jobs

The career education and technical courses are covered by different field of study that only requires skills. In which, these field of study gives more emphases in actualization and application. The example of these vocational courses are culinary, carpentry, craft making, computer games making and field that requires creation and hands on works.

This education program will be a great help for students who can’t afford to obtain a degree in college and want to earn money especially that skilled workers are much more in demand in the society today. As well, this can be a preparation for them, when they want to pursue and obtain vocational courses for formal learning or training and gain more knowledge to a certain field.
