Most of the two-year colleges and some public universities showed that their interest of adding online courses as part of their curriculums. With the difficult economic crises that the nation deals on, it could somehow lead the online programs become appealing or popular to several young learners in the country especially those who are foregoing a career educational learning. The flexibility of this online learning means that learners can be able to juggle between work and family life easily. The higher educational learning institutes now are expecting this current economic situation will lead an increase of online enrollees.

However some online instructors mostly stated that teaching through online program got some minor challenges such as lack of face to face interaction between students and the teaching faculty. Whereas, some teachers also stated that online learning system can also be benefited for shy learners since they can be able to interact to their teachers and fellow learners through the system of online student community resources due to the fact that with this online system a learner can still be able to prepare, read and compose their response for virtual communication.
