Meet up this month to secure higher education in Michigan

Various meet up are scheduled this month in Michigan to discuss different topics about education and how officials are able to map out plans to make this year a worthwhile year for career education and many other options for developing the education sector.

According to sources the meeting, which will be in January 13-15 and January 20, will tackle various topics: school’s sustainable financial picture, schools and communities relations, internships and tutoring, mentoring as well as the involvement between community schools and C-TEC.

The scheduled meetings are a follow up to the series of discussions on the book recently published and entitled “Community Capitalism.” This is also about how life in Kalamazoo can be improved.

Jennifer McDonald, Licking County Chambers of Commerce communications and marketing director said the project can make everybody happy if it would be successful and many good points can be discussed during the series of education meeting. She said people are excited about it because they know it can gather positive results as far as education is concerned.

The meeting, McDonald said, would be a start of the establishment of different committees on the areas of talent, education, places and infrastructure.

Ron Kitchens, the famous author of “Community Capitalism” is scheduled to speak at the Midland Theater on the various topics on relationships of schools and the community, financial picture which can be considered sustainable and other important topics about education.

As for the talent meeting, the speaker/s would be tackling on hoe young professionals are able to meet expectations and engage properly, organizing of young professionals to effectively map out plans of actions for themselves as well as how technology literacy can be bolstered. It’s been noted that even a doctorate degree online needs to be included in the education study so that more development ideas can be ironed out.

The infrastructure meeting which is also slated would also tackle topics on external and internal marketing, access to different sources of funding, student competitions start up funds, mass transit opportunities, small business incubator and many other related topics.
