• In the US, Johan Uvin, Adult and Career and Technical Education director said the state’s adult education program are now showing positive results especially in standardized scores in tests and examinations. He said many adult students in Rhode Island showed improvements in their educational goals. In fact, Uvin said, the state has allotted $10 million for projects on adult education. This means the state continues to value the education of adults. The report said that there is an increase from 32 percent to 46 percent in participating adults who have obtained GED or diplomas in 2006.

• Adult students who graduated in high schools and proceeded to college level purposely to obtain college diploma have many chances of improving the course of their lives and they can easily get CV models once they are prepared to take jobs.
