Adult education in Washtenaw County

A top official of the Washtenaw County announced the support budgeted for adult education to support the government’s program on No Worker Left Behind.

Governor Jennifer Granholm budgeted for adult education program a huge amount amounting to $250,000 for the Washtenaw Country. This development in adult education is seen by many people as a good campaign of the local government in said country to erase doubts that many people are still left behind when it comes education., It said that the program is an eye opener that many things can be done of the local government in the said country is determined to help the people.

It was learned that the total amount budgeted for the program will be used for the massive campaign to increase the adult enrollees of the program as well as in the enhancement of their skills. This is necessary so that adults can join in the No Worker Left Behind funded program for post secondary training and skills enhancement.

The Washtenaw Community College will be direct beneficiary of the funding but it has also its program partners such as the Chelsea, Ann Arbor, Willow Run and Milan, Washtenaw Literacy, Washtenaw County Michigan and Baker College. The program will surely give surefire knowledge to the participants for them to have a very colorful CV resume.

Granholm also said the program was announced sometime in August 2007 and aimed at training at least 100,000 people trainable in high demand occupations as well as for entrepreneurial endeavors. Just like a nursing school program, the officials at the Washtenaw County are hopeful for the success of the program despite many challenges they met along the way.

He said the people of the county are fortunate enough to have received such kind of treatment so that they can fell the importance of being the host when there are programs.
